GABRIELA GAIA

Gaia is a screenwriter, creator and director of audiovisual projects. During her career, she created content for Amazon Prime, HBO, Facebook, Canal Brasil, among others. In 2022 she co-directed the fictional documentary ESCASSO, voted best film at the Rio Festival, IndieLisboa Festival and Brasília Festival. The film was voted one of the seven best of the year by Lincoln Center at MoMA, and shown at the 2023 “New Directors, New Films” exhibition, where Gaia was cited as a director of new cinematographic languages.
